Winter

Winter fun en masse

In the Jungfrau region, skiers and snowboarders can have fun on 214 km of slopes – and all against the backdrop of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. The skiing areas of Kleine Scheidegg-Männlichen, Mürren-Schilthorn and Grindelwald-First are snow-sure. In all three areas there are suitable slopes for beginners and more experienced skiers. If you prefer to watch the professionals, come for the famous Lauberhorn and Eigergletscher runs and get carried away by the unique atmosphere.

Endless winter fun

Cross country skiing

Glide along round shorter, easier circuits or longer, more strenuous ones through the snow-covered landscape. There are about 20 km of well-signposted cross-country skiing tracks around Wengen to tempt you to get away from it all for a while. It's the best way of truly enjoying the fascinating, unspoilt winter wonderland.

Winter hiking

There is something very special about going walking in the winter. All you can hear on the carefully prepared footpaths is the crunching of the snow. And if you wear snowshoes to pad along on the soft white snow, it's even quieter.

Sledding

Whatever kind of sledging you enjoy, around Wengen you won't be disappointed. Speed merchants take the Fox Run beside the Lauberhorn ski slope down to Wengen. Those seeking more variety in their sledging head for the Männlichen.
